How to Apply:
1. Clean the edge guard area of your pickleball paddle thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.
2. Peel off the backing from the edge tape and carefully apply it along the edge guard, pressing firmly to ensure a secure bond.
3. Be sure to stretch the tape when you get to the corners. Apply the tape around the corners with your fingers as you move along the rest of the paddle.
4. Trim any excess tape if necessary for a neat finish.

Edge tape Application Steps
HOW TO
Step1
Clean the Edge Guard
Wipe the paddle’s edge guard thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, oils, and residue. Allow it to dry completely.
Step2
Understand Starting Position
Check the edge tape packaging before installation. If the packaging features a “TOP” logo, the tape is designed to begin at the top center of the paddle. This ensures the artwork/design is properly aligned across the top of the paddle.
If there is no “TOP” logo, begin near the bottom of the paddle at the handle/throat.
Step3
Apply Gradually
Slowly work your way around the paddle, peeling away the backing as you go. Press firmly while keeping the tape centered. Stretch the tape around corners to allow the tape to mold to the corners.
Step4
Finish
Continue down the opposite side toward the handle. Trim any excess tape with scissors for a clean finish. Firmly press along the entire length of the tape, especially around curves and edges, to ensure strong adhesion.
Edge Tape Removal Steps
HOW TO
Step1
Start at One End
Carefully lift a corner of the tape near the bottom of the paddle.
Step2
Peel Slowly
Pull the tape back slowly at a low angle rather than pulling straight away from the paddle. Peeling at a slow and steady pace will mitigate any residue left behind.
Step3
Clean & Dry
Wipe the edge guard clean and allow it to dry completely before applying new edge tape.

Glad I got it
I wasn't sure if I needed this at first, but with lots of play, the paddle face becomes dirty and full of marks. It's an expensive paddle and I wanted to keep it in optimal condition. This does a great job in cleaning the paddle surface. I don't know if it helps restore the grittiness of the surface but it's worth keeping it clean.
